Real Estate
Livermore Investment Group main share of investments is allocated to the real estate market. The company invests directly in assets as the major or sole owner. Indirect investments are made by holding a minority stake in a real estate company or private equity dealing with real estate.
Livermore’s commercial portfolio includes a AAA yielding project in Bern, Switzerland valued in excess of CHF 110m. The property is rented to the SBB, Switzerland's Federal rail company, for a long term. The Bern project includes 39 premium residential apartments viewing the Alps, which will be completed by July 2008. Additional land-development rights, which the company expects to utilise in the future, are also included. The Bern project firmly positions Livermore in the Swiss real estate market.
Livermore is currently the largest shareholder with over 20% holding in Atlas Estates, an AIM listed company that invests in real estate in Central and Eastern European countries. Atlas operates in the Polish, Hungarian, Slovakian, Bulgarian and Romanian real estate markets, investing in yielding assets and development projects.
Livermore’s investment portfolio includes top tier real estate private equity funds dealing with infrastructure, commercial retail, residential and hotel business in South East Asia. The initial, significant results from these investments are expected in 2009.
